Did you know that you can create vintage, soft T-shirts with salt? For each shirt, mix one quart of water with one-half cup of salt. Soak for three days. Machine wash with a dash of laundry detergent and tumble dry.

Time to Donate!
If sports gear no longer fits or your kids have outgrown the sport, be sure to donate the gear by scheduling a pickup time. Donations are greatly appreciated and help fund our veterans programs.

In the fall, when kids are playing sports, their clothes can take a beating. You can avoid unpleasant odors from shoes and sports gear by placing a dry tea bag into shoes and gym bags.
It’s Time for Sports!
Are your kids playing sports this fall? Don’t forget that their clothing will get dirty and sweaty, even in cooler weather. Make sure your children get their sportswear into the laundry room as soon as they get home from school.
Bring it in team!
If your kids are practicing for soccer or tennis outside, don’t let them leave soccer balls or bats in the lawn. Just as it’s important to have a clutter-free home, your yard should also be clean! Make sure your athletes bring their practice gear into the garage or designated storage area when they’re done practicing!
